Building Our Ryan Home: Week 9

We are getting closer and closer to the end and things are really starting to transform. This week we walked into a home. It was really nice to see all the changes, especially since my parents came with us.

The first thing we noticed was some work on the exterior. You can only see the plastic and the scaffolds, but behind that is our brick work going up. Only the bottom half was finished, so check in with us next week to see the full exterior {hopefully}.

Right inside the front door are the stairs. This week the railings were on. We also noticed all of the laminate floors, baseboard and trim had been put in. 

The best part of this week's check in was seeing the kitchen! Although this will be changing drastically during the first couple months, having the cabinets, countertops and doors in place makes it really feel like home. 

Upstairs both the shared bath and master bath also had their cabinets and double sinks installed. Our community automatically comes with the "craftsmen" package which includes the more square feel to the trim, baseboards, doorknobs and sink. We really love how it looks and fits the farmhouse décor we are wanting in the house.
